How many guests are painted in an hour?
During the event, I guarantee to sketch 8 people per hour. I usually sketch couples, but individuals or small groups can also be depicted together in a single drawing.
Do the guests have to stand in front of you or pose while you paint them?
No one has to pose for long. I take a photo with my tablet, and the guests can get right back to partying. I then paint the picture based on the photo.
What do the pictures look like?
My watercolors are painted on high-quality A5 watercolor paper and feature stylized figures without detailed facial features—the focus is on the mood, the clothing, and the moment itself. Upon request, I can also add a pretty stamp to each painting, such as the wedding date and the names of the bride and groom.
Will the bride and groom get a picture, too?
Of course! I love painting the bride and groom first. And if you’d like a larger, special painting, I can create a custom watercolor in my studio after the wedding based on a photo of the ceremony—including the surroundings, such as the landscape or architecture.
