The owners of Boutique Lilee, Catharina and Luise, are fully committed to embracing the natural beauty of today’s modern bride. In their chic boutique in Altenmarkt, south of the city of Salzburg, brides have been enchanted by gorgeous wedding dresses for several years now. In December 2020, Catharina and Luise opened a second location in Kitzbühel. Here you’ll find not only modern boho-glam dresses but also exclusive designer gowns from renowned brands in sizes 36–42.
The new loft in Kitzbühel, just like the boutique in Altenmarkt, is always open exclusively for the bride and her guests. Quick turnaround times make it possible even for last-minute brides to find their dream dress and matching accessories.
Boutique Lilee has already been honored twice with the Austrian Wedding Award.
At the Lilee bridal boutique, you’ll find exclusive dresses for the modern, chic bride. Brides-to-be receive detailed, genuine, and honest advice from Catharina Lackner and Maria-Luise Lackner-Fosstveit in a pleasant atmosphere filled with champagne and tulle.
How did you get into this line of work?
Itwas a completely spontaneous idea. One evening while we were on vacation together, we decided it would be a good idea to open a bridal shop in Pongau. Right after our vacation, we ordered the dresses and launched our business.
What sets your company apart?
Whatmakes us so special is that we share in every bride’s experience, empathize with her, and, of course (keyword: COVID), feel her pain. Every bride has a unique story, and we love every single one of them. We tailor our services to each bride’s individual wishes and are always available to listen to her.
What do you like about the wedding industry?
Theever-changing trends, the diversity, and the close collaboration with clients. Even though you don’t really know this person, you immediately take them into your heart and share in every moment with them.
What wedding trends do you notice?
Outdoorweddings, weddings in the woods or in the mountains, and sustainable weddings. When it comes to bridal fashion, there are both vintage and boho dresses with bell sleeves and light, flowing fabric, as well as princess dresses with lots of lace!
Luise, how did you get married?
Imarried my Swedish husband five years ago. Our wedding took place over three days. We had a civil ceremony on Friday—a very small, intimate gathering with just our family in the mountains. After lunch, we headed to Salzburg, where we hosted a get-together. The church wedding took place on Saturday at the Franciscan Church in Salzburg. For the civil ceremony, I wore a short dress à la Audrey Hepburn, and for the church wedding, I wore a princess dress.
And what about you, Cathy?
I'mgetting married next year at the Jufenalm and will be wearing a boho-style dress.
How did the new location in Kitzbühel come about?
We’d been planningto open another store in Kitzbühel for quite some time. But who would have thought the COVID-19 crisis would last this long? We spend a lot of our free time in Kitzbühel and felt that our concept would be a perfect fit for the heart of the city.
