Even though she herself thinks it sounds cheesy, Johanna Preßlaber has turned her hobby into a career—and it shows in her wedding candles. Die Kerzenmacherin designs and decorates each candle with loving attention to detail. Johanna even makes the wax sheets herself and uses a special technique to ensure that each sheet has a unique pattern. This charming woman from East Tyrol isn’t a fan of standard candles, which is why each of her wax creations is one-of-a-kind.
In her more than 20 years as a candle designer, Johanna has not only gained a wealth of expertise but has also witnessed time and again just how meaningful the light from her candles can be for bridal couples. This knowledge motivates her to enhance that effect with her decorations, so that her candles bring joy, hope, and comfort in all circumstances.
Johanna uses only wax to craft her wedding candles. She deliberately avoids stickers, shapes all symbols by hand, and even writes all the lettering by hand herself. This ensures that every single candle is truly a 100% handcrafted, one-of-a-kind piece.
If you’d like a candle for your wedding that’s as unique as your love, send Johanna your request. She’s already looking forward to getting to know you.
