She’s happy to travel to (almost) any location. In addition to wedding celebrations, she also conducts baby-welcoming ceremonies for families who choose this ceremony instead of a baptism. At such events, Kornelia also enjoys singing with you and your guests, because singing appropriate songs together fosters a sense of connection and creates a deeply meaningful experience. Kornelia also gladly presides over wedding anniversaries and vow renewal ceremonies. She sees these as “refueling stations”—or, as the independent celebrant puts it, “places of gratitude”—along your shared life’s journey.

I am a devoted wife and mother myself, and I want to support and encourage people who wish to make this commitment. The elation that couples feel during this phase of life should be deeply felt and experienced by everyone involved through your emotions and my words.
How do you involve guests—and especially children—in the ceremony?
At non-religious wedding ceremonies, guests and children are not merely observers; they actively participate in the proceedings by taking part in atmospheric rituals. If the bride and groom wish, speeches by guests can also be part of the non-religious wedding ceremony. It’s lovely and lively when children enrich the celebration. It’s a good idea to arrange for a supervisor who can accommodate children’s natural energy and enthusiasm, perhaps by encouraging them to draw pictures for the bride and groom or by providing opportunities for them to move around. Children also enjoy taking on tasks (such as gathering materials needed for the ritual, carrying the rings, and so on). Appropriate songs or dance routines performed by the children in attendance can also be part of the ceremony.
Is it possible to incorporate the civil wedding ceremony into a non-religious wedding ceremony?
In principle, yes—it just requires good communication and coordination between registrars and wedding officiants.
