If I’m unable to attend the wedding due to an unforeseen event, I’m fortunate to have a wonderful team of colleagues who are happy to step in for me in an emergency. This way, everything will continue to run smoothly, and there will be no additional costs for you as a couple. So you can rest assured that everything will remain well organized, no matter what happens.
How do you find the right words for each couple and manage to make the speech so personal and touching?
I really immerse myself in my couples’ stories. To do this, I use questionnaires that the couple fills out separately, as well as another one for family, friends, and witnesses. These give me valuable insights into the small, special details that make the couple so unique. But even during our conversations, I pay attention to things like pet names, funny anecdotes, and special moments. All these impressions come together in a speech that is 100 percent tailored to the couple—personal, heartfelt, and exactly right for them.
