For the past seven years, Natalie has been supporting families through all kinds of life situations—whether it’s a joyful baby shower, a heartfelt independent wedding ceremony, or even the final farewell to a loved one; with her empathetic manner, Natalie finds just the right words for weddings, baby showers, and funerals alike.
Thanks to her experience with such diverse encounters and life situations, this independent speaker can naturally create a special atmosphere—and this is the cornerstone for the perfect setting for any celebration.
Life itself has shaped Natalie into the person she is today—with all the ups and downs that come with it. As a mother of three, godmother to five, bridesmaid three times over, sister, and daughter, this empathetic powerhouse knows which values and actions truly matter. The speaker’s down-to-earth nature and relaxed demeanor are also reflected in the feedback from the couples she has had the privilege of guiding so far. The couples report that the atmosphere at their non-religious ceremonies was always warm and relaxed, yet also very emotional and empathetic. “You can just tell that Natalie is being completely sincere and speaking from the heart,” says one wedding guest about Natalie, perfectly capturing the essence of her wedding ceremonies.

Large weddings are like a thunderstorm that lets its heavy downpour slap against windowpanes like thunderous applause, while it announces with deep thunder and blinding flashes of lightning that something significant is happening here. Elopements are more like a gentle midnight summer rain, carried through the street by the wind like a soft whisper and noticed by most people only when it fills the air the next morning with the scent of summer freshness, new beginnings, and adventure. This elopement photo shoot took place after a night of just such a drizzle.
View GalleryA few years ago, I had the honor of being the maid of honor at one of my best friends’ weddings. She had been married before, and her groom had left the church. After a long search, we found a solution for a beautiful, personal ceremony: a non-denominational wedding. I was so fascinated by this option that I immediately began training to become a non-denominational wedding officiant in Cologne.
I can still remember every single detail of my own wedding ceremony, even though it was years ago. The opportunity to help shape such an important day in two people’s lives fills me with incredible honor and joy. And precisely because I am aware of this responsibility, I promise to do my very best—that’s what keeps motivating me time and time again!
I had a church wedding—in the chapel at Mehrerau Abbey. My husband was just as nervous as I was, but I can still remember the loving look in his eyes as I walked toward him. The priest who married us was a good friend of the family and incorporated a lot of personal touches into the ceremony. I can still clearly remember how he created a relaxed atmosphere with little jokes.
Times have simply changed! More and more couples are opting for a non-denominational wedding ceremony because they want to be themselves during the ceremony. Everyone has their role to play: the registrar represents the law, the pastor represents God. But in a non-denominational wedding, there’s only one client: the bride and groom themselves. Only when the couple can design the wedding ceremony entirely on their own terms—without having to compromise or pretend for anyone or anything—does it feel right to them. Then it becomes a ceremony that is genuine and true—just like their love itself. These days, there’s simply no need for a stiff, rigid framework anymore, because at a non-denominational wedding ceremony, anything the couple desires is allowed. The diversity that arises from this freedom is truly impressive. That’s why every single wedding ceremony is something very special—for me, too, of course!
