Beauty Bar founder Sophia Spatt, who runs a successful business as a makeup artist, hairstylist, eyelash stylist, and brow artist, knows exactly what matters when it comes to bridal styling. She and her team specialize in weddings and make more than 70 brides happy every year.
The trial styling session takes place at one of the two wonderful Beauty Bars. Here, the stylists can create a bridal look tailored to your type in a pleasant atmosphere with optimal lighting conditions. To bring out your personality, they tailor your look individually to your personal preferences.
To ensure everything goes smoothly for you, the stylists are happy to come to your home, hotel room, or the venue of your choice on the big day with their cases, all their beauty products, and their hair styling equipment. The team is also happy to handle the styling for the bridesmaids and other guests—even the littlest ones will get their braided hairstyles and flower crowns.

I took many art classes even as a child; drawing and creating have always come easily to me and brought me joy. I got my start in Berlin as a personal assistant to a well-known and successful makeup artist. That’s where I perfected my skills.
What makes your bridal styling stand out?
My goal is to give the bride a sense of confidence on her very special, exciting day and to bring out her personality even more—so that she feels beautiful and ready to take on the world. I travel with my suitcase full of beauty products straight to the bride’s hotel room. She greets me in her bathrobe, and together we create a natural look that lasts all day and makes the bride glow.
What trends do you see right now?
The hairstyle should look light, wavy, and “not too pinned back.” The trends in bridal hairstyles include messy buns, delicate flower crowns, and loose hair with bohemian waves and braided sections. But classic hairstyles are also very popular right now—after all, you’re only a princess once in a lifetime. When it comes to makeup, plenty of glitz and glamour is in style right now, but of course, not too much. Eyeshadow tends to be subtle, but eyeliner and full lashes are a must. Brides want light contouring. We always focus on a natural and fresh look for bridal makeup, though with more definition than in everyday life.
How would you like to get married?
Since I’m a very meticulous and highly organized person, that will surely come through in the planning of my wedding as well. I like things to be classic, white, and not too colorful. Still, I want it to be a relaxed, stress-free “celebration of love.”
