Starting with your in-person consultation, you’ll work together to develop a look that suits your personality, your dress, and the style of your wedding. She works exclusively with high-quality products that are individually tailored to your skin and hair.
On your wedding day, Mia Selby will guide you through your getting-ready process with calm, sensitivity, and experience. She ensures a relaxed experience and sets the stage for a wonderful start to your day. Upon request, she’ll also help you get dressed, style your loved ones, and handle the groom’s preparations. Professional Support for Your Wedding Photo Shoot
Mia is also there for you during the first look and the couple’s photo shoot. With her many years of experience on photo sets, she’ll be there to support you behind the scenes and make sure you can focus entirely on this special moment. She keeps an eye on every detail: the veil and train are draped perfectly before each shot, the tie is positioned just right, and any minor adjustments are made on the spot. This way, you can relax and enjoy your photo shoot while Mia makes sure your outfits and styling look their best in every photo.
Why should I book a trial styling session before the wedding?
During the trial styling session, you’ll get to know me and get a feel for your wedding look. Together, we’ll figure out if your desired look is the perfect fit for you and make any necessary adjustments. You can also take some test photos to see how the makeup looks on camera. This way, you’ll head into your wedding day feeling confident, knowing that your look is just right.
How long does a trial appointment for my bridal styling take?
This bridal styling appointment will take about two hours. We’ll set aside about three hours for makeup and hairstyling. Please bring a photo of your dress as well as any inspiration you have. Come to the appointment with a clean face, freshly washed hair, and no styling products. Wearing a white top will help you better assess how the makeup looks on you. We’ll also discuss the schedule for your wedding day and create a timeline. I’ll carefully document your final look so we can recreate it exactly on your wedding day.
What happens during bridal styling on the wedding day?
The process begins with a trial appointment. On your wedding day, I’ll be happy to come to your home or a location of your choice so you can relax and get ready for your big moment. My goal is to make you, the bride, look authentic and beautiful without making you feel like you’re wearing a costume. I take the time to tailor your styling perfectly to your wishes. Together, we’ll create a look that highlights your personality.
What products are used for bridal makeup and hairstyling?
For your bridal styling, I work exclusively with high-quality products from renowned brands. Thanks to my many years of experience, I know exactly which products are suitable for which skin types and how they need to be applied so that your makeup lasts all day and looks natural on camera. It’s important to me that your look feels light, is gentle on your skin, and makes you feel confident well into the night.
