The sooner, the better—especially if you’re getting married on a popular wedding date. Many brides book their date 9 to 12 months in advance. That way, you can be sure your desired date is set—and we stylists can plan everything together at a leisurely pace.
When should I schedule a trial appointment?
It’s best to schedule the trial styling session about 8 to 10 weeks before your big day. By that time, all the important details are usually set—your dress, the colors of the decorations, and the venue. Your styling preferences will also have largely solidified by then. This allows me to tailor the look specifically to your overall concept, and together we can create a harmonious, well-rounded look.
How much time should I set aside for my hair and makeup on my wedding day?
I’ll set aside about 2 to 2.5 hours for your styling—at a relaxed pace, with no stress. If you’d like me to style your maid of honor or family as well, we’ll discuss a schedule in advance that gives everyone enough time.
Can you also do my mom's, my maid of honor's, or my guests' hair and makeup?
I'd be more than happy to! I love it when you all get ready together—it's often a really special moment. Just let me know ahead of time how many looks you'd like, and I'll make sure to set aside enough time—or bring along some help for larger groups.
Are you also traveling to the wedding venue?
Yes, I'm on the go and can come right to wherever you'd like to get your hair and makeup done—to your hotel, your home, or your wedding venue.
