For Astrid Trummer, there’s nothing more beautiful than that “bridal glow.” That’s what this experienced stylist calls the moment when you feel completely at ease with your look—when your makeup is flawless, your hairstyle is perfectly coordinated, and your radiance shines from the inside out. That’s when Astrid knows: Everything is just right!
With 15 years of experience as a bridal stylist and over two decades in the beauty industry, Astrid brings not only professional expertise but also a calm demeanor, precision, and a keen eye for detail. Hygiene, organization, and personalized consultation on an equal footing are second nature to her. You can sit back and relax, because your AreiA styling delivers exactly what it promises. Whether natural, understated, or with a touch of glamour: Astrid tailors every look specifically to you. Your maid of honor, wedding guests, and even the groom are in the best of hands with her. Whether at her studio in Eggenberg or on-site—Astrid is flexible and available for bookings throughout Austria and beyond.
Weddings have always held a special fascination for Astrid. For her, accompanying a bride on this special day is always a true labor of love. Her brand, AreiA, expresses exactly that: The name is a combination of the Icelandic word “Areidanleiki”—meaning authenticity—and the initials of Astrid’s name. Before she fulfilled her big dream in 2021, she went through a challenging time during which she sought one thing above all else: authenticity. Today, she’s living her dream and offers you a styling experience that showcases you just as you are: authentic, beautiful, and radiant.
No and yes—I do offer the option to book styling just for the wedding day (the “Turquoise” package). For this, I’ll ask in detail beforehand—using photos—about your wishes and ideas, and we’ll discuss what kind of styling the bride feels comfortable with. What does it take? Trust and a little extra time on the wedding day. I always recommend a trial session, simply because then, as the bride, you won’t have to make any last-minute decisions on the wedding day—you’ll know exactly what to expect since you’ve already tried it out. I’ve seen it happen too often: brides want elaborate makeup but don’t feel comfortable with it. That’s exactly what you can test during the trial. The trial appointment should be scheduled about six weeks before the wedding, so I can take into account hair length, hair color, skin tone, the style of the dress, the color of the jewelry, and the overall color scheme of the wedding. The trial takes about three hours.
Up to 24 hours, sometimes longer. With certain techniques, the makeup lasts all day long, even through sweating; it’s also water- and tear-resistant, yet still looks natural. It’s just as important to me that it photographs well. When it comes to styling, I specialize in making thin hair look fuller; it’s also important to work with the hair’s natural texture. The hairstyle stays in place without causing any pain.
As early as possible, since I only accept one bride per date. Don't hesitate—book your date for 2026 or 2027 right away.
About two hours for the bride's hair and makeup if a trial session was done, about one hour for the groom, and about 45 minutes for guests—each for either hair styling OR makeup.
Again, yes and no. Yes, if you’re used to it and know exactly how your skin reacts to the products and treatments—and when your skin looks its best after a treatment. No, if you’ve never done anything like this before and don’t know whether your skin can tolerate it. The golden rule: Don’t try anything new. My recommendation for a perfectly radiant complexion: start a year—or better yet, two years—in advance. That way, I can address acne, scars, fine lines, or pigmentation issues with treatments and skincare, and on the wedding day, I can work with skin that looks natural and is perfectly prepared, which further enhances the final result.
